There is a recommendation that all teens 11-13 or in high school get MENACTRA (to prevent meningitis) and that all boys and girls 11 and up get GARDISIL (to prevent cervical cancer, genital warts and a few rare cancers for males as well).
The Tdap (Tetanus booster that also protects against pertussis or whooping cough) is for children 11-13 years old.
Hepatitis A vaccination is strongly recommended for our state for age one and up.
There is a lot of erroneous information about vaccines on the internet.
MMR does not cause autism!! See CDC web site explanation
DtaP does not cause autism!!
None of our vaccines contain thimerosal.
We do not use live DTP.
